I like Carmel Valley a lot, the shape of the hills, the colors of landscape and the perfect lighting.

FULLR: Growing up in a small industrial town was interesting for a boy who liked to draw. Most boys grew up and worked in the plant with iron ore, I wanted to create things that weren't so black and white. When I got called to the principal's office for drawing in class. My second grade teacher Sister Maria simply told my Mom, "Get this kid in an art class." Every Saturday we would load up in the Caprice Classic station wagon for the hour trip to Mr. Rigsby's studio. My first painting was not pretty. But I kept at it and still do today.
